About Mark Ferraretto
Mark Ferraretto graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematical Sciences from the University of Adelaide in 1989, majoring in Computer Science. Mark spent 25 years as an IT professional and consultant, working in wide variety of industries including education, banking and finance and aviation in both Australia and Hong Kong.
Looking for a new challenge, Mark enrolled to study law and graduated from Adelaide University Law School in 2016.
In 2019 Mark joined Flinders University as an Lecturer in Law. Mark established Flinders University's legal technology curriculum, which included teaching students coding skills and writing legal software applications. Mark returned to private practice in 2021 before returning to Flinders University in 2023 as a Senior Lecturer in Law. Mark now practices privately but also maintains a strong relationship with Flinders University.
Mark has held a Private Pilot's licence since 1990 and a Recreational Pilot's Certificate since 2022. Mark currently owns an Aeropup Light Sport Aircraft and has also held interests in general aviation aircraft. Mark was also Director of Recreational Australia Limited from 2022 to 2024. Mark is currently a Committee member of Adelaide Soaring Club Inc and also a member of the South Australian Aviation Museum.
